Rick: With the latest advances in open offices I noticed in Mosh's office that two people actually shared a work space. It is commonly done in studios? I know this condition existed but until now, it has never been given a name- hence my proclivity to label.
This is the first time I have posted anything to a dictionary? Tom
Haha... yes Tom seating arrangments such as at Safdie's office are quite common, in my experience.
Open office schemes are great for fostering team work and open communication. The one big problem with them, though, is telephone conversations. It can be very difficult to control noise. But the latest advancements in white noise generators and electronic equipment are great for resolving that issue.
